JTA Inflight VR

Japan Transocean Air wanted to create a memorable inflight experience to go with the launch of its new Jinbei jets (Boeing 737-800) that flies daily between Tokyo and Okinawa.

Working with Japanese agency SuperDrive, we created a world’s-first inflight VR campaign using Google Cardboard which required no application downloads from the passengers. The aim was to aspire passengers to visit famous landmarks of their destination upon arrival, which transforms the otherwise boring flying time into an unforgettable experience filled with anticipation.

The VR experience has since then become a permanent selling point when users visit the JTA website to book a flight.
