Repositioning a Stigmatized Product

How do you launch a needs-based product associated with shameful stigmatization, into a market that has an abundance of similar products? You tell the same stories differently, of course.

Starting with 3 TVCs that tapped into the most common scenarios for using the product - staring side businesses, unexpected emergencies, and fillings life’s gaps - we made sure each story was relatable and entertaining. Taking out a loans has always been a serious business, but it need not be dull.

All this rocketed GXS as the 7th largest lender in Singapore within a seven-month timeframe.

We also created 15s clips to demonstrate just how flexible the product is, with PlayDoh.

Lastly, we crafted copy-lead ads to stand apart from the stock photography that are commonly associated with loan ads.
